East Mountain Neighbourhood

From Upper Wellington Eastbound to the Red Hill Valley, the East Mountain developed from the 1950’s onward. While the neighbourhood of Sherwood Heights and the gorgeous East Mountain Brow Boulevard are lush and leafy, with huge lots and architecture from the 60’s and 70’s, newer developments continued South Bound.

Proximity to Lincoln Alexander Parkway (and Hwy 403), reasonable real estate prices and relatively large lots all make for a favourable place to live.

The Concession Street area has undergone a transformation in the past few years, with the addition of new trendy restaurants and coffee shops. The Concession Street BIA holds a street party annually in June, and an event called Sidewalk Sounds on the third Friday of every month from May to September.

Entry-level is in the $400,000 mark with townhomes selling for somewhat less.
